Reporting\nto the Pharmacy Supervisor - Ambulatory Pharmacy, you will perform various\npharmacist functions pertaining to Ambulatory Pharmacy. Some of these functions\ninclude:

\n
• Supporting\n the Pharmacy Supervisor in ensuring compliance to rules, policies and\n regulations
\n
• Overseeing\n support staff
\n
• Performing\n medication dispensing activities and clinical pharmacy program\n optimization to deliver outstanding patient care
\n
• Cultivating\n and modeling a collegial, professional, cooperative relationship with\n pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff
\n
• Demonstrating\n effective, innovative problem-solving
\n
• Adapting\n to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment
\n
• Advancing\n a patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and\n commitment

Schedule:\nvaried shifts, depending on department needs, including\nweekends and holidays

Hourly\nSalary Range: $90.16 -\n$105.61 (Union represented, step based salary\ndepending on years of experience)

Bargaining\nUnit: HX - UPTE

Qualifications

\n

We’re seeking a strong, independent clinical leader with current California Pharmacy licensure, a PharmD degree and: 

\n
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
\n
• Knowledge of clinical, ambulatory, specialty, transitions of care and dispensing workflows
\n
• CSP or equivalent board certification preferred
\n
• Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh) licensure is desirable
\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
\n
• Certification for Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery with Applied Practice
\n
