Base pay range $27.38/hr - $36.98/hr Job Description INNOVION Corporation is seeking an Equipment Engineering Technician for our San Jose, CA facility. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving equipment performance of a highly diverse ion implantation service facility, working alongside engineers, process technicians, and maintenance staff. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Support onsite Innovion Ion Implanters Assist maintenance staff and process engineering Collaborate with vendors, second source part suppliers, machine shops, and OEM equipment makers to optimize equipment performance Drive retrofits and upgrades to maximize implanter performance Contribute to defectivity reduction, cost-of-ownership reduction, and continuous improvement programs Perform activities safely, supporting Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements Education & Experience BS/MS or equivalent degree Skills Experience in ion implantation or semiconductor equipment; 5+ years preferred Strong knowledge of High Vacuum theory and skills Fluency in English, both written and verbal Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Ability to work with all organizational levels and external partners Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities Understanding of complex automated systems and human interactions Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Maintain confidentiality and security of information Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Working Conditions 8-hour shift: 6am to 2pm, Monday through Friday during training Potential shift changes to swing or graveyard after training Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs Stand for entire shift when needed Safety Requirements Attend scheduled training, follow EHS procedures, and use PPE as required Pass a physical exam and be fitted for SCBA Quality & Environmental Responsibilities Maintain standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, and others applicable to your role.
