The Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) division at Leidos is seeking a Facility Services Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and support services of the organization’s physical facilities. This role ensures that building systems and services function efficiently and safely, while aligning with organizational goals and delivering exceptional service to building occupants. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, operational expertise, and a proactive approach to managing both in-house staff and contracted service providers. Primary Responsibilities include leading and supervising custodial, maintenance, groundskeeping, and other facilities support teams; overseeing day-to-day operations of buildings and grounds ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality; coordinating and managing routine and preventive maintenance activities including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and structural systems; ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security regulations; responding to service requests and managing work order processes; administering contracts and relationships with external service providers; tracking facility-related expenses and managing budgets; implementing and maintaining facility policies, procedures, and performance metrics; collaborating with departments such as EHS, Security, and Facilities Engineering; participating in emergency response planning; and maintaining accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, compliance reports, and facility performance. Basic qualifications include TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, minimum 5+ years relevant experience or 3+ years with a Master’s degree, at least 2 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of facility management, building codes, contract management, project management, budgeting, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, professional certifications (CFM, FMP, PMP), experience with HVAC and building automation systems, proficiency in facilities management software, success in leading cross-functional projects, knowledge of sustainability standards, and experience managing renovations or construction projects.
