Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist Contractor to support our dynamic manufacturing plant. This on-site role involves executing daily HR administrative tasks, supporting recruitment and employee relations, and assisting plant leadership with policy guidance and strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: HR Administration

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files.
• Manage HR mail and correspondence.
• Administer employee recognition programs.
• Support leave of absence, workers’ compensation, and accommodation processes.

Employee Relations

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
• Guide employees on HR Connect system usage.
• Assist in resolving basic employee issues and escalate complex matters.

Leadership Support

• Provide policy guidance to plant leadership.
• Support HR transformation and self-service process training.
• Mediate workplace issues and coach supervisors on documentation best practices.
• Conduct training sessions for frontline leadership development.

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Coordinate internal job postings and assist with candidate management.

Must-Have Skills:

• Human Resources experience (2–3 years minimum in manufacturing/industrial settings)
• Conflict resolution and performance management
• Strong understanding of HR policies and employment law (FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation)
• Proficiency in HRIS (e.g., Workday), Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• File management
• Workers’ compensation handling
• Policy compliance knowledge

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
