Job Overview Irrigation Manager role at BrightView Landscapes. Description Irrigation Manager responsible for scheduling and directing personnel and resources to provide quality, cost‑effective irrigation services to clients. Supports Account Manager(s) in estimating, designing and client meetings and sells irrigation services independently, with or without base maintenance contracts. Oversees a commercial landscape portfolio and multiple service teams, training staff and providing day‑to‑day operational guidance. Responsibilities Understand client needs through regular communication with Account Manager(s). Manage all irrigation services, coordinating materials, people, equipment and subcontractors to deliver quality work. Inspect properties prior to service to prepare a specific action plan. After installation, monitor irrigation systems and identify any issues. Perform hands‑on work with crews as needed to meet schedule demands. Work with the Branch Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew and prepare daily schedules. Ensure proper paperwork is completed for all employee changes and new hires. Communicate, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plans for employees. Provide hands‑on training and support for crew members on equipment operation, pruning techniques, safety and quality standards. Focus on safety and monitor safety records. Maintain all required administrative systems, including time sheets, job databases and service schedules. Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries. Request purchase orders in accordance with company guidelines. Assist the Branch Manager with irrigation sales tasks as required. Qualifications Minimum of a 2‑year degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience within an organization, the landscaping industry or local marketplace, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
