Job Description

Are you a passionate emerging landscape designer with a love for hand-drawn concepts and a desire to shape outdoor spaces that truly matter?

Do you thrive in creative, client-focused environments where mentorship, craftsmanship, and legacy design principles set the foundation for success?

Our client, an award-winning, 5-star rated residential landscaping company is seeking a driven and creative Landscape Architect to join their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to work directly under one of the region’s most accomplished senior architects - who brings over 50 years of experience and 20,000 completed designs - and who is looking to pass on his knowledge to the next generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with clients to bring custom outdoor spaces to life.
  • Support and lead residential landscape design projects from concept through construction.
  • Learn and apply hand-drawing techniques in real-world design scenarios, with AutoCAD used as a supplementary tool.
  • Participate in the full design-build process, gaining exposure to everything from site analysis to project delivery.
  • Grow into a leadership role as the senior architect transitions toward retirement.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture, with a strong interest in hand-drawn design and traditional drafting methods.
  • Early-career experience or a recent graduate eager to learn and grow within a collaborative team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for working directly with homeowners.
  • Desire to earn your Landscape Architecture Stamp and develop a long-term career in Atlanta.
  • Highly motivated, creative, and committed to carrying on a legacy of design excellence.

Location: Alpharetta, GA (on-site role, must be local or willing to relocate)

Remuneration: Up to $70,000 per annum, plus additional benefits and project-related travel reimbursement.

Our client is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants. Applicants will receive fair and impartial consideration without regard to race, sex, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic data, or other legally protected status.

All applications will be reviewed by a real person and responded to.
