About the Role

Evolve Workforce Solutions is assisting a prestigious Am Law 200 law firm in Tallahassee, FL, in hiring a Litigation Legal Assistant. This is a full-time, in-office position that requires a highly organized professional with strong litigation support experience across civil, appellate, and federal court matters.

The role involves standard litigation administrative work such as e-file management, document formatting, and client portal uploads, and is best suited for someone who can manage case activity with speed, accuracy, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal administrative support in civil, appellate, and federal litigation matters
• E-file pleadings in state and federal courts following procedural guidelines
• Upload and manage case documents in client portals and internal systems
• Draft, edit, and proofread routine legal correspondence, filings, and motions
• Schedule hearings, client meetings, and track court-related deadlines
• Assist with billing support, including time entry, expense reporting, and invoice processing
• Maintain well-organized electronic and physical case files
• Coordinate with internal departments on conflicts, case opening, and records requests
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, phone calls, and correspondence

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience as a legal assistant in litigation, ideally with civil, appellate, and federal court exposure
• Proficiency in e-filing systems for both state and federal courts
• Familiarity with client document portals and file management systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; legal billing and document systems experience preferred
• Must be available to work on-site in the Tallahassee office
