Position: OptoElectronic Integration Coop

Number of Position(s): 1

Duration: 4 months+

Date: September 2025 - December 2025

Location: Onsite - Murray Hill, NJ

Educational Recommendations: Currently a PhD candidate in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited US institution.

Collaborate with our researchers to advance the field of photonic devices:

1. Simulation and modeling of thin-film lithium niobate photonic integrated circuits (PICs)
2. Experimental characterization of new PICs
3. Present research findings through oral presentations within the team
4. Generate publications for leading conferences and journals in photonics

Qualifications include:

• Hands-on experience and publications in integrated photonics (silicon, silicon nitride, lithium niobate, or III-V)
• Experience testing and characterizing optoelectronic devices and systems
• In-depth understanding of semiconductor physics and devices
• Problem-solving skills, creativity, and good communication skills

Preferred skills:

• Experience in designing and optimizing photonic devices and circuits
• Familiarity with photonic circuit design tools
