The location was added to increase visibility on job boards* Compensation Salaried: $75,000 – $105,000 annually About The Role Compensation is commensurate with experience, education, and relevant credentials. We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Pension Administrator (or Senior Pension Administrator) to join our remote team in a client-facing role. You’ll be entrusted with managing the administration of a diverse portfolio of defined contribution plans—ranging in size, structure, and complexity. This is a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building lasting relationships with clients and collaborating with a supportive network of specialists, consultants, and coordinators. If you have DB/DC combo plan experience, you’ll also enjoy a tailored caseload that incorporates those plan types. Your initial caseload will start at 40–50 plans and grow annually until you reach a full portfolio of 80 plans. Key Responsibilities Plan Administration Manage eligibility determinations, employee data corrections, and complex contribution calculations Perform compliance testing across a variety of retirement plan benchmarks Prepare variance reports, asset reconciliations, valuations, and necessary tax forms (Forms 5500, 8955-SSA, and others) Support client audits with precision and clarity Document Review & Consulting Explain plan document provisions and amendments in simple, accessible terms Suggest strategic amendments to enhance plan administration Client Relations & Communication Provide timely, friendly, and professional responses to client inquiries Simplify complex pension topics to foster client understanding and confidence Offer problem-solving insight that adds genuine value to client experiences Professional Development & Collaboration Engage in ongoing education (mandatory, even for non-credentialed team members) Collaborate across teams to enhance our services and processes Champion innovation, efficiency, and a positive team dynamic What We’re Looking For Your Strengths Positive, collaborative mindset with confident problem-solving skills Strong time management and organizational habits Independent initiative balanced with thoughtful teamwork Clear, personable communicator (especially via Microsoft Teams video) Attention to detail and analytical mindset Your Background Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred ASPPA QKA, QKC, QPA, CPC or NIPA AKS, APA, ARP credentials preferred Uncredentialed applicants: we’ll support you in earning your QKA (within 6 months) and QKC (within 12 months)—including exam reimbursement upon passing Minimum 5 years in a TPA firm, working across a variety of defined contribution plans Tech Proficiency ASC, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams required Familiarity with PensionPro a major plus Remote Work Requirements High-speed, stable internet connection Quiet, well-lit workspace free from major distractions Available during regular business hours in your local time zone Ready to Apply?
