Skedaddle Inc. is a trusted FedEx Independent Service Provider (ISP) seeking a highly reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Personal Vehicle Delivery Provider (PVD) in Johnstown, Colorado. This is an excellent year-round opportunity for someone seeking consistent daytime, part-time work, or a steady second income, who is familiar with the rural routes and addresses near Berthoud, Greeley, Platteville, and Fort Lupton, CO. In this position, you will use your personal vehicle to deliver packages to rural addresses (AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended). Personal vehicle drivers in Johnstown will work part-time between 09:30 AM - 3:30 PM (approximately 6 hours daily), up to 5 days a week.

Job Details

As a Personal Vehicle Driver, you will operate your own personal vehicle to deliver FedEx packages. Each day you'll meet our team leader in Johnstown, CO at 09:30 AM where you'll get 40-60 small e-commerce packages to deliver to rural addresses in surrounding areas. Drivers will be provided with a FedEx scanner and a company cell phone which provides turn-by-turn directions to each delivery stop. Routes will be planned to take up to 6 hours to complete, and drivers will meet back with the team leader before 3:30 PM each day to return equipment + any undeliverable packages. Your team leader will provide support by phone & text for any delivery issues that you may encounter.

Compensation & Benefits

• $15.00/hour + $0.70/mile (IRS mileage reimbursement rate) for driving your personal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Package Pickup & Sorting: Report to the FedEx delivery station at 3870 Ronald Reagan Blvd, Johnstown, CO 80534 to pick up packages at 09:30 AM each day.
• Rural Delivery: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and business addresses on a designated rural route near Berthoud, Greeley, Platteville, and Fort Lupton.
• Time Management: Utilize routing and scanning technology to ensure all packages are delivered within the established daily time frame (typically by 3:30 PM).
• Scanning: Accurately use the provided delivery scanner (and/or mobile app) to track packages, document delivery exceptions, and confirm delivery stops.
• Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Vehicle Care: Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical readiness of your personal vehicle.

Driving & Vehicle Requirements

• Age: Must be at least 21 years old (for insurance purposes).
• License/Record: Possess a valid driver's license, a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and pass a mandatory background check.
• Reliable Vehicle: Must own and operate a reliable vehicle (AWD/4WD SUV or Truck preferred) large enough to hold up to 60 packages daily.
• Note: Vehicle must be well-maintained and in good cosmetic condition.
• Insurance: Must carry a valid and current auto insurance policy.

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Lifting: Ability to occasionally lift and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs unassisted and heavier packages with a dolly.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, and climb stairs for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfort using a mobile scanner/app, GPS systems, and navigating using a smartphone.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure packages are delivered to the correct rural address.
