• Clinical Shift Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (preferred); 12-hour shifts may be considered PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Neonates
• Patient Volume/Census: 2224 NICU patients
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: Level 3 NICU, High Frequency Ventilation, Simple Surgeries (e.g., hernia repair) FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Cerner
• Specialty Backup Available: Two neonatologists during the day, one at night
• Support Staff Available: Neonatologists, nursing staff
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: 4590 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Neonatal resuscitation JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active MD license or IMLC
• NRP
• Level 3 NICU experience within the past three years;
• Pediatric Hospitalist experience in NICU setting
• Board Certification: Neonatology
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Cerner EMR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient care to neonates in a Level 3 NICU setting
• Perform neonatal procedures including intubation and placement of umbilical lines
• Collaborate with neonatology team to ensure continuity of care
• Document clinical activities using Cerner EMR
• Participate in simple neonatal surgical procedures as required
