We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our team in a contract manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will support the sales process by managing order quoting, entry, and tracking while maintaining strong communication with customers, sales managers, and internal departments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process order quotes and entries in a contract manufacturing environment.

  • Review and manage customer order backlogs to ensure alignment with manufacturing availability and customer requirements.

  • Resolve issues related to credit holds, down payments, and purchase order discrepancies.

  • Provide excellent customer service through frequent communication via email, phone, and fax.

  • Monitor and ensure the timely closure of opportunities in Salesforce.

  • Ensure all sales opportunities are properly linked to corresponding sales orders.

  • Process and document commission splits on sales orders.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, functions, and features.

  • Attend daily or weekly backlog meetings as required.

  • Support Regional Sales Managers, independent sales representatives, and dealers.

  • Obtain and adhere to all company signing rules, including approval for demo orders, discounted orders, credit return orders, exchange or cancellation orders, and sales quotes.

  • Maintain an order entry accuracy rate of 95% or greater .

  • Ensure same-day turnaround for sales quote processing.

  • Manage consumable sales and meet assigned sales goals.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Participate in systems kick-off meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales coordination, customer service, or order management in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
