We are currently hiring for a Fire & Security Alarm Installation Technician in our Fishkill, NY branch.

$25-$35/hour, based on experience


What You'll Do

Installation Technicians focus on setting up new security, fire, camera, and access systems in residential and commercial environments. You’ll engage directly with customers on a daily basis, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential. Service Technicians primarily troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing systems, ensuring reliability and performance. In both roles, you’ll engage directly with customers on a daily basis, making strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Install and configure electronic security, fire, access control, CCTV, intrusion, and network-based intercom systems
  • Service and troubleshoot systems to resolve performance issues
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Educate customers on system functionality, features, and service needs
  • Provide exceptional customer care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering helpful solutions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
  • Uphold high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer care


What You'll Need

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in the alarm industry preferred
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Proficiency with low voltage install, maintenance, and repair of CCTV, intrusion, fire, access control, and intercom systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • OSHA 10 and/or NICET certification a plus
  • Willingness to work occasional nights/weekends and travel within the Fishkill region

  • Ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Comfortable working in various environments
  • Adherence to all safety protocols
