We’re seeking a passionate and creative Senior Interior Designer to help shape beautiful, functional environments for our senior living communities at all 10 locations in Pennsylvania and one in Maryland. In this role, you’ll lead design projects from vision to reality—crafting warm, welcoming spaces that enhance daily life for our residents and reflect the values of comfort, dignity, and community. This is a unique opportunity to blend your design expertise with meaningful impact, working alongside a supportive leadership and marketing team to bring thoughtful, elegant interiors to life.

Full time, Monday through Friday based out of our Office in Hershey, PA. This position requires significant travel to our regional campuses throughout PA and Frederick, MD.

Senior Interior Designer Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership : Lead multiple interior design projects simultaneously at our various senior living communities, overseeing all phases from concept development through installation and final walk-through.

  • Leadership Management : Act as the primary point of contact for internal leadership, interior designers, architects, contractors, and vendors. Clearly communicate design intent, provide regular project updates, and manage any adjustments to the overall plan.
  • Project Scheduling & Budgeting : Develop, manage, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and key deliverables to ensure each project stays on schedule and within financial parameters.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with fellow designers, project teams, and external partners to foster a cohesive, productive workflow and support innovative, resident-centered design solutions.
  • Documentation & Quality Control : Prepare and review all necessary design documentation, including construction drawings, FF&E specifications, and material schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Site Visits & Coordination : Conduct regular visits to any of our senior living communities at our 10 locations in Pennsylvania and one in Maryland to track construction progress, resolve design-related challenges, and ensure the final outcome reflects the intended vision and quality standards.

Senior Interior Designer Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio that includes work in senior living or related environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
  • Proficient in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and managing in-house design staff.
