Board Certified Pathologist

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Rate: $150-200/hr

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in our diagnostic services department, providing accurate and timely pathological evaluations to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform gross and microscopic examinations of surgical and cytology specimens.
2. Interpret pathological findings and provide accurate diagnoses.
3. Communicate diagnostic findings effectively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
4. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
5. Provide consultation and support to clinicians regarding appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
7. Contribute to the development and implementation of new diagnostic techniques and protocols.
8. Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

1. Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
2. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology.
3. Valid state medical license (any state license accepted).
4. Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as a Pathologist.
5. Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in interpreting pathological findings.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
