About Us

Rocky Mountain Rails is a large scale adult, dual gauge railroad club located near Waterton Canyon in the southwestern Denver metropolitan area, south of Chatfield Reservoir, off of highway C-470 and Wadsworth Boulevard. It is located on privately owned property and contains approximately 5,000 feet of 4 ¾” and 7 ½” dual gauge track.  We also have a gazebo, a loading/unloading area, turntable and steam-up bays for steam locomotives.

All club members have access to the club train site 24/7, regardless of membership status.
